Advisory Committees
The ATIC committees form a series of technical advisory groups to ATIC leadership, faculty, staff, and coalition partners. They perform a crucial function needed by ATIC to achieve it's mission of developing a workforce capable of supporting intelligence-related disciplines such as Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (AGI) and integrating these and other intelligence disciplines to solve difficult intelligence analysis problems.
Committee Membership
Committee members are selected from the local, state, and federal level, as well as from industry partners and ideally will posses one or more of the following qualifications but will not be limited to the following qualifications.
- Currently responsible for workforce management
- Currently responsible for workforce development
- Involved in the production of Intelligence products
- Directly involved with new Job creation/position creation
- Responsible for new job transition training
- Own or represent a company that is directly involved in technical intelligence development or support (to include manufacturing of devices from spin-off technology)
Tradecraft Development Committee
- Identify tools, techniques, procedures, analysis and exploitation processes/ reporting methods within ATI Community
- Identify gaps in capability in the current environment
- Identify training needs to fill identified gaps
Workforce Development Committee
- Determine the proficiency requirements and levels for the ATI workforce
- Define the knowledge and skills that are core competencies
- Provide guidelines for career progression based upon skill, education and experience within ATI field
Curriculum Committee
- Translate findings of the Tradecraft Committee (what needs to be taught) and Workforce Committee (who needs to be taught) into a course of study or series of courses of study
- Match the education and training requirements against the available courses from ATIC or ATIC partners
- Recommend optimum mix of instructional forums (e.g. short course, traditional academic presentation, distance learning, remote instruction, etc.)
